1. You will watch the video "Invasion of the Data Snatchers: How to Protect Your Privacy Online" and create a google doc (in your CET Folder) to answer the following questions (label it Data Snatchers Questions): What type of information is okay to share on the Internet? What types of information is not okay to share?

3.Open Google Classroom and click on the Private/Public Assignment.
4. In the google doc you created in STEP 1, answer: what is identity theft? what is a good rule for kids to follow about giving private info online?
Note: Private information, such as a Social Security number, is unsafe to share. It should be kept private so that identity thieves cannot use it. Personal information, such as your favorite food, cannot be used by identity thieves and is safe to share. Even though personal information is usually safe to share online, you might choose not to share this information, and that's fine.
